This is an improvised pattern by Shelly Heikkinen The stitch pattern comes from the 365 Stitches a Year Perpetual Calendar, March 27. I changed the starting row to their row 6.
Yarn: any DK weight yarn with a smooth texture Needles: Size US 8
Size: approx 4” wide.
Pattern note: Mark the right side of your item, and on the back side always knit the knits and purl the purls within each 4 row pattern.
Cast on (I use a knitted cast on) 34 sts (any multiple of 4 plus 2 will work) do not count this as row 1.
Row 2: K2, *P4, K4, repeat from * across Row 3: repeat row 1 Row 4: repeat row 2 (you've now completed one 'pattern')
Row 5: P2, *K4, P4, repeat from * across Row 6: K4, P4 to last two stitches, end with K2 Row 7: Repeat row 5 Row 8: Repeat row 6
Row 9: K4, P4 to last two stitches, end K2 Row 10: P2, *K4, P4, repeat from * across Row 11: Repeat row 9 Row 12: Repeat row 10

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Moultonborough Scarf This is an improvised pattern by Jan Hogan (felixsisknits) (Scarf shown used 2 balls of the Adriafil Knitcol)
Needles: US 6 / 4.0 mm This is a simple check/rib pattern that has a look of
alternating branches or peaks. Warm and wooly... CO 35 sts Repeat pattern rows 3 - 5 to the desired length. Knit across two rows to finish. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Basket o' Berries Lace Scarf This is an improvised pattern by Jan Hogan
Materials: Yarn: Plymouth Fantasy Naturale Solid color shown #6092 Hot Pink or Raspberry Needles: US size 11
Pattern:
CO 17 sts Row 1: k2, yo, k2tog, (yo, k1, k2tog) x2, yo, ssk, k2, yo, k2tog, k1 Row 2: p5, k7, p5 Row 3: k5, p7, k5
Repeat these 3 rows for the pattern to the desired length. Add knotted fringe to each end to finish the look. This makes for a reversible, textural, squooshy light scarf. Lots of movement - reminded me of the raspberries I shake up in the colander for my breakfast.
This pattern was made especially for the Scarves from the Heart organization. For more information see Scarves From the Heart Group on Ravelry or visit my blog.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aran Print This pattern was generously donated by: Crystal Palace Yarns. Thank you Susan (Owner of CPY)
Materials Crystal Palace Bamboo Needles or DAISY Needles US#9 (5.5mm) This pattern will also work for Pattern: Instructions: (Note1: when joining the 2nd ball of yarn, just overlap the yarn at one edge for a length to allow knitting of 3-5 stitches and continue knitting. Trim ends when scarf is complete.) [ Note2: I knit this scarf while watching Netflix movies and I did not always count carefully the 8 rows of Seed Stitch, so sometimes my scarf has 6 rows, sometimes 7 rows, sometimes 8 rows between the 2 rows of garter stitch. It looks fine, so suit your own knitting personality on how much you need to have exactly 8 rows. - Susan ]
